Replace worn difusser should I upgrade

Hello All,
My pump (Sta-rite Duraglas) was making some strange noise took it apart cleaned up the impeller put it back together it appears fine.

I've got a 92PS Impeller and 216P Diffuser 1/2 HP set. The copper ring inset in the diffuser is shot. It's not smooth and even like the image.

I've got a 3/4 HP motor getting about 50GPM flow.

I'm thinking of going with the 3/4 HP set 138PEB Impeller and 200PA Diffuser. I'm still working on getting a 3/4 HP 115V 2 speed.

Looking at the flow charts I'm getting 50GPM so about 45 FT Head, if I go up one size looks like I'll get 70GPM at 45 FT Head with a single speed.

What your opinions?

It all depends on what your goal is. If you want to save money in the long run, then go with the smaller impeller and a two speed motor. If you want to go with less money in the short run then go with what you have on hand.
