I have the Weber Genesis Gold (5 years old) and starting a few weeks ago the temp stays between 450-500..even on low. Anyone know whats up with it?
Harry
Sounds like you need a new thermometer. Try disassembling the therm. and cleaning it real good, put it back in, fire up your grill to test.
Unfortunately, in my search, there appears to no longer be exact replacemant parts for your (and mine for that matter) grill. That said, you can always get a universal therm. to replace it with. I found one HERE. Hope this helps.
Thanks...but the thermometer is brand new..got it at Ace hardware. Also put a stove type inside and it reads same temp. Called Weber and they said it is manifold problem so I'll take it apart next weekend I have free or send Weber 41$ for a new one. Harry
Weber still makes the replacement "309815" Ace has them for 11.99
