SR Smith Salt Stand with 8' Frontier III

Heya,

Our last pool had an SR Smith 8' Frontier III with metal Cantilever Jump Stand.
With the salt water, the stand was a battle to keep the rust at bay.

So, the pool at our new house....we are getting the same setup, but with the Salt Stand.
I presume this is a composite covered stand of sorts.

The springy nature of the original pool diving board is desired for the new one.

Wondering if anyone can verify the newer SR Smith Salt Stand is as good as the metal one in regards to performance?

In case it helps anyone else, I did have the SR Smith Salt Stand with 8' Frontier III installed with our recent pool build.

I can confirm it is as springy/bouncy as the metal cantilever stand.
So, same results but will be rust free as the entire thing is composite.
