Use only UV or ozone in spa?

Any truth to it?

What other alternatives are there?

Can ozone or a UV sterilizer be used as the sole sanitizer?

There are a lot of threads here that discuss this. Try searching the forum for "approved sanitizer" or "alternative sanitizer" or something like that. There is also some info in Pool School.

All the bad rap comes as a result of an experience in a non-properly maintained pool our a public pool which are generally more harsh. Following the recommendations here, you will not even notice the chlorine.
