    skimmer leak fixes?

Hello,The name is Ryan the problem is a leaking skimmer. Here I have a leak where the skimmer meets the gunite pool. What is the best way of fixing it? I plan on removing the stone above the mouth for better access. The 2 part epoxy seems to be a temporary fix.there has to be a better fix.thanks in advance.

    Welcome to TFP!

Where exactly is the leak? Can you provide a picture?

Mine was starting to crack and ended up cutting it out completely and installing a new skimmer ... not cheap.

Epoxy is anything but temporary. Without a pic it's hard to tell, but epoxy would be my choice.
