Pipe runs for pool

Trying to plan my IG runs of PVC pipe,

I'm getting a 10x20 with a depth of 3-5',

I believe I need a run from the skimmer and another from the floor drain.

So am I correct that two runs to the pump intake side.

Can I run just one return back and split it off to few return jets.

A total of three runs from pump to pool or am I overlooking something or is a there a better way to do this?

tks

You are certainly on the right track, though there are many approaches that all work. Three runs is enough, but four (typically an unused spare) is probably a good idea. Pipe is inexpensive, digging trenches after the deck is finished is very expensive. Using even more pipe runs than that is getting more and more common these days. The big benefit is going from two to three, above that the advantages diminish, but there are still some advantages.
