Rehab concrete deck - options

We have a typical gray concrete pool deck. It is in decent shape structurally, but is simply ugly and drab. I'd like to find a way to enhance the look without massive reconstruction or expense. I'm just starting to look into staining, painting, etc... I'm initially drawn to some form of an epoxy coat, but I'm looking for any recommendations, thoughts, considerations, etc...

Kool Deck is one of the standards for pool decks. Be very careful that you choose something intended for pool use to avoid a slick deck.

Nothing is cooler than Kool Deck but it is tricky trying to bond to an already cured deck. There are a lot of spray deck options out there to choose from that bond better although they will be hotter under foot.
