cleaned pool, pump wont turn on

hi all, i am new to this.
I was cleaning my pool with a vacuum, now my pool pump wont start. First it said, low flo, I read that it will turn off automatically when there is low flo and wait for the right amount of flow before turning on again. I went back to check, there was a burnt smell and now no power whatsoever. It keeps cutting out. I have a hayward pool pump, is it ruined, i've heard that hayward pumps cut out on low flow. Could it be just the capacitor gone????
Any help, much appreciated.

It souns like you may have a clog somewhere. Turn the power off and check the pump strainer basket for debris, then remove the basket and feel inside the impeller housing for debris.
