Need Ideas on cleaning Pool cartridge filter, I am thinking of going to Self service Car wash and clean them with a High pressure hose. I have 8 of them. What do you suggest ? Thanks

You can use a garden hose and a filter cleaning aid and save the trip to the carwash. The filter cleaning aid is a liquid solution that you spray on the filter to help break loose the dirt and oils on the filter
An overnight soak in dishwasher detergent tends to do wonders for cartridge filters. Rinse them off with a garden hose, soak overnight in a mixture of one cup of automatic dishwasher detergent for every 5 gallons of water, and then rinse them off again with a garden hose.
Be careful with high pressure hoses, they may damage the filters. If they will fit in your dishwasher you can run them through there on the lowest setting with no heat drying.
Thanks Everyone, I liked the idea of soaking the filters overnight dishwasher detergent, I have 8 filters, I am wondering how shall I soak them, do you think I can do it in a bath tub ?
Or use a larger rubber garbage can ... may not hold all 8 at the same time depending on size.
