Our pool is about 2 months old (28,000 gallon) exposed aggregate salt pool. Our intellichlor generator keeps saying our salt levels are good but the local pool supply store and the test strip I used at home say my salt levels are low (2600ppm). The intellichlor states it likes salt at 3400ppm. Could my generator be miscalibrated since it says the levels are good but they are actually too low. My chlorine levels are at 5ppm. Help. My pool builder is once again not returning calls.

Short answer, if the SWG is happy, leave things alone. None of the salt test methods are all that precise. The system used by the IntelliChlor is probably the most reliable of the three.
