I have lived in cold Idaho for the majority of my adult life. I sorely missed having a pool out my front door (I grew up in an apartment) but in Idaho it just wasn't worth it. Thankfully my family just relocated to sunny and beautiful Dallas, Texas! When searching for a new house, an in ground pool with attached spa was my first priority, once we narrowed down a location.
We move in next month and I am so excited! But also full of trepidation.
Here is our new pool (Forgive the angle, this is from the realtor's website. We close in a few weeks.)
I hope to make a lot of changes. Right now it is almost clinical in it's austerity. I want to add an awning off the back of the house with misters, some in pool lighting for evening interest, updated landscaping, a water slide into the pool and a security fence. I have a two boys, 3.5 and 5.5, neither can swim yet so security is of great concern.
So, that's me. Here is my soon to be pool.
