I have a question, I got a used Thermospa Concord hut tub. it run before we moved it to a new spot. ( prev spot was not leveled).
The installer run 3 wires instead of 4 and then added a 4th wire for neutral. So i have an 8-2 with ground ( white and black) and a white neutral wire. would this create a problem?. Help.

Check to see if the subpanel is wired correctly. Look at the neutral wire going to the spa inside the subpanel. It should be connected to the GFCI breaker and not the neutral buss bar. That is a common problem with electricians who are unfamiliar with wiring spas.
