    Pump replacement

I have a Sta-Rite P6RA6G-207L 2HP 230v single-speed pump. My pool is ~12,000 gallons, DE filter, chlorine generator, heater, spa with water feature, booster pump for cleaner.

Looking to replace with 2-speed pump to save some $ on electricity. Any recommendations??

    Re: Pump replacement

I'd suggest just replacing the motor with a 2-speed model if the wet end is in good shape. I assume you need the 2 hp for the spa & water feature so I wouldn't go much smaller.

It may require a new mount unless it has the foam spacer.
