6 person EVOLUTION hot tub buying used. WHAT IS GOOD/BAD?

We are going to look at a 6 Person Evolution Acrylic Spa Hot Tub with Waterfall, 2011 model. Ad states "It comes with the cover, steps and 3 headrests . Retailed for $7K. LED lights with many different settings and colors. All manuals and chemicals included. Buyer responsible for moving it at pickup. Works like new and never been any problems with it. Each side has 2 panels that come off for easy access."
We are BBB users on our AGP and have been extremely sucessful with it, but a spa is new to us. SO: Is there anything that should say "RUN AWAY!! " to us when we look at it? they are asking 3500 obo. is that reasonable? we will have to move it 30 miles (which in TX is practically next door). any helps on hauling it? we have a 16 foot flat bed trailer.

Don't let the shiny trinkets distract you. Look closely for cracks and wear in places you don't normally see. Also take the panels off and make a close inspection. The only thing better than that would be to actually see it operating and use all the devices in person. Other than that, go get it and have a good soak.

Oh yeah, offer them 3K for it.

If you don't want it, call me!
Sounds like a great deal if all is ok. Got 220? Pretty sure it needs to be wired for 220 operation to keep from eating your utility bill alive. Something to think about.

If it is anything like pump motors, it would use the same amount of power (watts) whether it was run on 120V or 220V ... the number of amps would be different, but it would cost you the same amount of $ in electricity.
