    Ever seen a pool like this?

    WOW!

    This is from a realty article on foreclosed homes.

    What on earth is that growing in that pool??
    Are they just weeds, what's the black stuff?

    Oh and why is it just bare Gunite/Shotcrete with no finish?

    PS. If this belongs in a different forum on here, go ahead and move it. I almost put it under the Skimmer Basket, but it's really not off the "pool topic" and I didn't see a place it really fit there.

    It looks like they have created some sort of dead vegetation layer up the sides. How they got started in the 1st place is what puzzles me.
    I'm thinking that leaves blowing in, then decomposing created enough of a biomater layer that they could take root.

    They better check the CYA level. Might be a little high.

    I'd like to know how they convinced the photographer to get IN the pool to take the picture! EW!

    AG, 26' x 52" Intex Ultra Frame, vinyl, 14667 gal. And LOVING it!!! Hayward S15922S 1HP, 2SP pump and Hayward S220T Sand Filter. Hard plumbed with PVC, added second return, intex SWG, Hydro Pool widemouth skimmer. Set up in May 2012!
