My TA level is 80. Pool School says this level is good, but the test kit indicates it should be like 100. Does anyone know if this s ok? Im closing tomorrow and trying to balance. all other levels are ok.

thanks

Depends on how you manage your chlorine needs. If you are using trichlor pucks regularly, they drive down TA, so you must keep TA up in the 80-100 range. If you are using bleach regularly, no effect on TA, then you may want to run TA lower in order to manage any upward drift in pH if you are experiencing that. It is pH that you are trying to control and if TA falls too low then pH crashes and damages equipment, if TA gets too high then pH gets too high and swimmers are not happy.
