    I don't have algae in my pool, just a concrete mixer

    Hello Everyone.

    Very pleased I found this forum - some great advice.

    This is my first post so I thought I would share the attached photo with you.

    10,000 gallon in-ground pool. Tiled concrete. Sand filter. Completed 1st Jan 2012.

    Gonna take a lot of chlorine to clear that thing out of the pool.

    I think your pool has too much iron in it.
    Intex Ultra Frame 26'x52"
    Intex 2,500 gal/hr pump with Unicel cartridge filter.

    How do you swim in concrete? Isn't it hard on your skin?

    Of course it's easy to fix - just send round another concrete mixer to pull it out!

    Hello Kim

    Here's a photo of my finished pool. It's 27 x 13' and 5' at the deep end.

    I think I am lucky here as my season is 365 days and the water always around 86F+ and no heater (just the sun).

    Got a bit of a problem now though as Sept and Oct are the rainy season - we will get about 35 inches during these two months = about 6100 gallons, so my pool chemicals get well and truly diluted!
