I was thinking of buying a winterizing skimmer plate so I would not have to drain my pool below the skimmer. I guess my question is, is there any way of blowing your skimmer pipe and adding anti freeze without buying/installing one of those plates?
What do most people do, just drain the water below skimmer and be done with it? In the past that's what I did but I thought it may be quicker and save water by using the plate.
