Question about Polyquat 60

I may have this all screwed up. I've been shocking my pool for the last 24 hours. No problem holding chlorine. I added the recommended dosage of polyquat 60 for winterizing my pool last night after dark. This morning I woke up and I failed the OCLT. Do I need to start the shocking process all over or does this have something to do with my addition of polyquat 60?

Chlorine slowly oxidizes Polyquat but does so more quickly when both are at higher levels. This is normal so don't worry about the chlorine drop. A chlorine overnight loss test is not appropriate when you are using both for closing. See this post for closing instructions using chlorine and Polyquat.
