Copper pipes and salt water sysems

I'm converting my pool to salt water. Do I need to change the copper pipes to PVC?

All chlorine pools have salt in them so although it would likely be nice to switch to PVC not required IMO but do keep PH well balanced.

I run through 2 solar panels that have copper pipes in them. I've had no issues with the salt water and copper pipes.

    Welcome to TFP!

As described in this post, some gas heaters with copper heat exchangers have their warranty voided at high TDS levels needed for a saltwater chlorine generator. You shouldn't have any problems, but if your heater is new you should check your warranty.
