I went away for a month an pool turned brown.. Ugly..

Started on friday.. check ph ajusted it.. cya was at 20 so added a to get to to 40 figured i would lose some to back wash.. vaccum everyday.. brushed it everyday..


have added 10 gallons of 12% clorine every day.. since..

Brown is gone but cloudy..

Im trying to keep it above 15 but ****..

had a 4 pont drop over night.. 19.5 to 15 added to bring it back to 20 an went to work of a few hours.. came home 3 hours later an its at 6... What the heck.. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.. just put it back to 20.. this is getting expensive... 20 bucks a day..

So you've been at it for 3 days?
That's not long at all to clear a swamp. I bet it didn't get that way in 3 days.

Just keep it at shock level. The more often the better.
