We chose to go with Pristine Pools after several quotes. They were a little more expensive (about $48K) but their workmanship was noticably higher quality than the others.

It was really hard to come up with a design for our yard. It is already very small (as alot of newly constructed homes are nowadays) and then with a 10' easement on the back and a sloped yard it was a challenge. I am really happy with the concept our PB came up with. He was also very patient with all of our outlandish ideas which we usually ended up not liking when conceptualized. We always ended up going with PB's suggestions which seemed to be more useful and better designed.
 
I'm not a commercial pool builder but it looks good. The only comment is some people will complain about the blocking under the rebar. They don't appear to be the correct type of block.

I can assume gunite will be very soon.
