Need suggestions for a new Pump for Inground pool

Hi,
The original Hayward Superpump in my pool has a cracked case and a slight leak when under pressure. I'm hoping
to get some recommendations from folks on the board for a replacement. My thought is to replace it before closing
the pool this year so its set to go in the spring.

Here are my specs:

Location Central NJ.
23,000 Gallon Inground Vinyl Pool
Leaky Hayward Superpump with 1.5 HP 230 Volt motor
2 incoming lines (1 skimmer, 1 main drain)
Triton II model 60 filter
1 1/2 inch plumbing
Stayrite Pool Heater
Hayward inline automatic clorinator after heater.
3 Return lines (1 was converted from the automatic cleaner that I no longer use)

Any help on sizing and where to purchase is greatly appreciated.

What do you use for a cleaner?
Any water features?
Solar?

Given just what you have written a 1HP is likely plenty ... even 3/4HP is probably sufficient given that you did not list any high flow rate requirements.

A 2-speed would also save you more money on electricity by running on low most of the time.

Since you have 230V at the motor ... the 1HP 2-speed Superflo might work well for you.
