Anyone with a rectangle Intex pool?

Will you be covering your pool this year? If so what cover do you use?

Our cover supplied by intex was shredded by the wind last winter so I'm wondering what other options there might be - google isn't being helpful every cover I find is round/oval.

Hi, I had the same problem last winter with my first year of the Intex Ultra rectangular winter pool cover 32ft.
To cut a long story short I managed to get a replacement cover from the dealer on the basis that the cover should last more than one winter
and certainly make it through the first one at least! They werent happy about it, telling me the Intex warranty for accessories was only 30 days ie the warranty on the
cover is likely to have run out before you have ever used it!
I paid the freight and they replaced the cover at their cost as the wind had not been excessive and the cover had been tied down evenly and according to instructions.
This winter I am planning not to rely only on the vertical cords which come supplied on the cover, but to rope across the top of the pool at least 3 or 4 times on the long side and twice on the short
side so that the wind cant get under the cover and rip the vertical cords out of their ridiculously un-strengthened holes.
I think you can buy another rectangular cover from Intex directly and are about $50 for the 32ft. Just make sure you use a lot more rope.
It may or may not work but the alternative is a winter cover from a specialist which may work out a lot more expensive.
Best of luck.
