Do I increase pump run time during shocking process?

I started the shocking process today and I didn't see anywhere in pool school where it told me how long to run the pump during this process. Should I increase my run time? Keep it the same?

I always run 24/7 when the water isn't perfect. Even during shocking you may see localized chlorine depletion unless you have good circulation.
