    Total Chlorine - 11 CC - 0

Ok, we haven't been able to swim much lately but I have been running my filter for at least 6-10hours/day. I tested the water today because we want to swim and we have a few friends coming over tomorrow...

    FC - 11
    CC - 0
    TC - 11
    CYA - 30
    TA - 50

With the FC being 11, is that ok to swim in?

    THANKS!

Anything below shock level is OK to swim in. Your shock level with a CYA level of 30 is 12 so you are good to go right now. By tomorrow if you don't add any more FC it will probably be around 7-8.

Thanks. I am currently NOT adding chlorine. So I will re-check tomorrow morning.
