I want to thank in advance for all the amazing info. that've been finding here. I live in London, ON. Canada, 2 boys, 5 and 7 this year. We have purchased Intex 18x52 saltwater 2 years ago used just to see if you really gonna like the pool and we love it
My yeard is 65 wide, 185 long. I would like to get another Intex (I think) due to cost, but would like to go bigger 24ft round or 24x12 rectangular.
As you can see, I have lots of room and its very private, Any advise, comments, recomendations?...

Go as large as you can, you've got the room.
I don't know Intex but I've read that their pumps/filters are can be undersized, if you go large you may want to consider upgrading to an standard AGP pump/filter, you'd have to plan for a proper electrical run and a dedicated circuit and that could be expensive if it's in the rear yard. My neighbour uses a heavy gauge extension cord that lies on ground....where the water could be...please don't do that.

As always, make sure the site is properly levelled (not by eye)

Only other suggestion would be to consider a steel walled pool and a deck. Rounds are relatively easy to install, ovals are more challenging and both require a lot of planning.

thanks, there is a direct, dedicated line/ braker installed, for now I just ran heavy duty 100 ft. extention above ground and take it away for the winter.
Why I like intex as of now, is price, metal pool will run me 3x the price of intex and few able to run saltwater or at lease according to local dealer.
