I have seen some steps with their edge rounded over and some with a sharp edge. What is the difference? Is there any? My PB made my gunite steps sharp edge, but says they have a tool they use when they plaster that puts a slight round over on it. Seems like a sharp edge might be dangerous if you fall on it. And why would they not want the gunite rounded over also?

Just a guess here, but getting to big of a radius can cause people to misstep/slip off. If the radius the gunnite, I would suspect the radius becomes quite large.
