It has been raining for the first time in awhile which is good, but now my pump won't turn on. The GFCI is tripped and if I turn the breaker back on the motor starts for a split second and it throws the breaker again.

I am assuming there is water somewhere. I used my leaf blower to try and blow the motor out but to no avail. Will this clear up on it's own when it dries out? I have never had this trouble before even though my motor really isn't protected except for maybe being under the roof eave just a bit.

I'm with you. I bet that there is some water somewhere. You need a couple of really hot and dry days to air things out and see if that helps.
