Haven't been on the site in awhile. New Rottie pup has been keeping me busy. Water has been great all year with just some minor adjustments. Yesterday though while out in the yard and looking over my pool equipment I noticed that my pump pot was bone dry. I got it filled again and when I turned my system on it wouldn't move water. The pump was running but not pushing water. I never noticed water anywhere and the only thing I can think of is that at some point the weir door got stuck. It's moving freely now and always has so I'm kind of stumped. Is my pump shot or is there hope? The pump is an Advantage Electric 1.5 HP.

Thanks Bama. My neighbor offered to take a look at it & I think I'll try to catch him. He's pretty darn good with that stuff. Any thoughts on why I lost the water in the pump pot?
