1/4 inch of water loss a day

I live on Long Island and have been experiencing about a 1/4 inch of water loss a day as well. Is it normal???

    Welcome to TFP!

1/4 a day is a bit much for Long Island this time of year, but completely normal for somewhere with lower humidity.
