I think the only way to know if you are getting a "deal" or not is to get multiple bids from builders in your area. Its hard to compare different pools in different areas with each other. Then you have to make sure the specs of the pool are also the same even to compare bids between companies. As to whether or not you are getting a "good pool" for the money, that is very hard to tell from an equipment list. You need to go check out some pools they built, hopefully some that have been around a few years, maybe visit some pools under construction to see how they do things, and most important, how do they respond when something isn't right?
