    Interesting article I ran across on the net. ... _Myths.pdf

    Author concludes largest source of phosphates are from pool chemicals like algecides, scale and stain removers, not environmental (fertizlier or dirt blown into the pool).

    You don't mean to say that pool stores sell you phosphates hidden in one product then sell you phosphate removers in another??? Why, that's unthinkable!

    Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
    A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
