cheap ideas to entertain the children

the kids had a bit to much sugar food the other day and had been in the pool till they darn near raisined up. even after the pool time they were on the go so i looked around and came up with this idea. a 5 gallon bucket, 12 foosballs, and four foam noodles and bingo! a game that took they're attention the rest of the evening.

what ideas/inventions do you guys have?

Thanks for the idea! A great way to continue using the noodles (even those that are no longer buoyant). I bring the kids inside for a game or two of Rummycube. My kids are early elementary aged.

When the kids get out of the pool I'll think of something, check back with me in late September. They never want to get out!


We spent last week in Daytona, we didn't do anything all week except cycle back and forth fom ocean to pool to oven etc..
When we walked in the door at home their first question was "can we go in the pool".
