have a pentair pg 2000 fiber optics light on the pool., quit working last year, thought it would be the bulb burnt out. ordered new bulb still did not work, i sent the bulb back and they replaced it and it still did not work so i'm going to have to have someone look at it. would like a heads up on what might be wrong. fan comes on and the color wheel turns. changing the bulb is about the extent of my electrical talents.

no there's no remote yes the color wheel turns. checked the two fuses they looked ok. looking at the parts list i don't see a lamp ignitor would that happen to be the capacitor

Capacitor is on one side ignitor on the other of the fan. Ignitor has red, white and blue wires coming out of it.
