Is there such a thing as a bug light for a pool?

My daughter and son spend half their swimming time at night rescuing the bugs that fly in. Are there any bug lights for pools? I suspect people don't want to light a pool with that yellow light but just wondering.

In a way I suspect my clear water from BBB is adding to the problem...

We don't use our light while swimming for that very reason. We have tiki torches that we use for light to avoid drawing bugs.

That's been the only bright side to the drought. No bugs!

Our pool has never had a light. There is a street light just outside our wall that casts a soft even light over our backyard. With our "BBB" pool being so clear, I can see the bottom with just that amount of light.

Instead of using our pool light, we have an LED color changing spotlight mounted under our sunroom eaves and projecting out onto the pool. It also has a remote. Think I got in on ebay.

Security light here that kicks on and off... Hi to neighbors in Pensacola .

I'm assuming you are wanting to replace reg bulbs with yellow ones? I like the idea of the tiki torches... Citronella to boot... Some of the color changing LEDs look cool! Let us know what you find out / decide

I would be curious to know if amber LED lights were less "buggy" like the old yellow light bulbs we used to see all the time.
