As, of now I only have some test strips and the Kmart 3 way Aqua Chem drop tester kit.

I am looking to probably order the tf100 on Wednesday...bear with me! lol

As of yesterday evening, the 20th, I filled and per the calculator put in

62 oz. of bleach
27 oz of Shock Plus.

Testing chlorine at least 3 times today its very very yellow. It looks to be almost in the 5 ppm though...
Ph is just a tad high color wise, guessing 7.9ish?

Using the strips, the stabilizer pad is close to the 50 (ok). I know is not very accurate but...

Now, this evening what do i do?

I would take a sample of the pool water to a pool store and get it tested there. Test strips are more like guess strips IMO, pretty worthless. If you have just filled the pool and have not added any CYA to your pool you can start with the pool calculator and figure out what you need to add in the way of CYA and get that done.

dichlor is not just CYA it also adds FC and lowers the pH.

There is "pure" cyanuric acid CYA that does not add the FC. Dichlor works as long as you track how much you add do the CYA and FC do not get too high.
