Looking to buy a sand filter pump

hello, we have a 15x48 intex pool i am looking to buy a sand filter pump,
i have seen this new intex sand filter with the saltwater system is a 2 in 1 pump.
is there any difference in buying them separate or together like the new sand filter that has attached to the saltwater system. hope you understand my question? witch would be better? next year we are planing in getting a bigger pool its an 18x48 what filter/pump would you recommend

The general concensus is that it's better to buy them separate. That way if one part fails, you don't have to replace both units.
