Pool light wet niche bonding/grounding wire

The bonding/ground wire attached in the pool light wet niche has come undone. It is connected to a post that was cemented/glued to the brass niche.

What do I use to reconnect as welding won’t work on this. Also, once fixed in place, do I cover the wire and connection with a rust inhibitor?

If the conduit is metal you can use a grounding clamp to reattach the bonding wire to it.

If the niche is brass as you say, the wire was brazed/soldered to the niche. You will have to re-attach it that way. The bond wire there serves two purposes, one to bond the light itself and the other as a waterbond.
