    Is this normal?

My FC level is good in the morning, but with kids swimming and sun all day my FC drops to zero ever day. Is this normal?

That isn't uncommon, but it isn't acceptable. You want to maintain a minimum FC level at all times.

I suspect your CYA is also low, which allows chlorine to get used up by sunlight very quickly. You may need to increase CYA before you will be able to maintain an FC level through the day.

If you post a complete set of water test results we can give you a more specific answer.
