Dolphin Pro in Above Ground Pool

Do anyone know if the Dolphin Pro cleaner can be used in an above ground pool? It states it is for an in-ground, but I am not sure why it can not be used for an above ground......

I found one on CL for $200 and thought that was too good a deal to pass up...
 
Hi Fritz, I think the reason you cannot use an in ground pool cleaner on your above ground is due to the fact that when the robot climbs the walls of your pool, the vibration may damage your pool walls. The cleaners made for above ground pools do not climb the pools and consequently can't damage your pool walls.
