I just hooked mine up for the first time. The hose appears top be jittery and kinda jerking on the water surface if that makes sense. The ranger isn't moving smoothly but rather in short scoots if you will. Never stops just scoots on along. Is that normal? Its very rhythmic rather than random. It is cleaning.

Mine does the same thing and always has.
As far as I know it's normal

were you able to get the hose pieces to go all the way together? Mine seems to be getting air now. Looks like I get to go get wet.

Not really, they go mostly in but are tight
