Like most I found this wonderful site AFTER buying my pool and start-up kit.
We bought an Intex Easy set pool (10' x 30") with a filter pump. We also purchased (& opened ) an HTH pop-up pool start up and maintenance kit. It came with shock 'n swim, chlorinating granules, stabilizer & conditioner and 4-way test strips.
After reading through the instructions I did a test and came up with FC - 0, PH-8.4, and TA-240.
I was fortunate, after not knowing where to start I ran across the pool calculator. I added 1 oz of the chlorinating granules but then realized that i need to adjust the ph. I guess my question is, what do I need to put in after that or should I have done something else?
