Brand new to pools

Just getting started, we live in Missouri and are wanting in have a in ground vinyl liner pool built. We would like to use a salt system, but cannot decide between using polymer graphex or galvanized steel construction. Some the builders say the salt system will corrode the steel construction. Anyone have any thoughts on this? The pool we are choosing is a lagoon shape pool, 40' x 30' x 20' with a 8' deep end.

Salt is guaranteed to corrode and deteriorate the steel. Polymer wont rot or rust. We have been building for thirty years and have taken brand new galvanized panels from the factory with rust on them before ever being put in the ground.

Does the brand of polymer matter?

Graphex looks heavy duty, but there's only two builders here in St. Louis that do them, so we're kind of bound to them if that's what we want.

We've also gotten bids on Hydra Pinnacle panels and Premier panels.
