When to Start My SWG

Been learning lots here. I got the test kit, I shocked my pool, as of this AM:
FC 7.5
CC 0.5
PH 7.5
TA 120
CH 230
CYA 40

Pool looks better this am than it has in a week. CYA is slowly coming up. Needs vaccumed, bought new vac at wal-mart, but of course, my pole doesn't work with vac head. When junk on bottom of the pool gets mixed up will that change my numbers? When can I turn the SWG on? Going to use pool calculator and bring TA down some.

Did you pass the OCLT?
Is the water clear?

If the answer to both is yes, then you can go ahead and turn the SWG on.

When the stuff gets stirred up it may use up a little FC, but it won't be much.

What is the salt level or how much salt did you add?

I did pass the OCLT this morning, but the pool needs vacuumed. Doing that tonight. My salt level was 264? a couple of days ago, this morning the pool calculator recommends adding 10lbs of salt. I have pool party tonight sooooo, I'll be interested to see my numbers after. Thanks for all the help as I continue to read, then read again, my understanding of this process is becoming as clear as my pool.
