Salt needed to open new pool

How much salt is needed to start for an Intex Ultra Pool 22'x52" and then how much is needed to maintain?

    Welcome to TFP.

Assuming you're going to have a SWG, very little is needed for maintenance. How much it takes to begin with all depends on what the starting level is. Tap water is almost never zero salt. Have the pool store test it and you'll know where to begin. Then use the Pool Calc to figure out how much oyu need.
