Plastic or vinyl coping?

Hi;

I have an gunite inground pool installed in the 1960s with what appears to be plastic or vinyl coping. Naturally over time the coping has some hairline cracks. We tried to epoxy paint the coping but the creacks reappeared. Looking for suggestions of how to repair or cover the cracks.
