winterization in WI?

I know - its long away.But I am wondering what to do with my 18x52 Intex AGP when winter in WI comes. It is our first year and I have put a lot of effort and work in to set up everything correctly (thanks to this group :!: ) and am wondering if the pool has to be taken down or can it stay out with some water?? I believe Intex recommends not too - but - boy, its going to be a lot of work again.
Anyone thought and experience on that?]
