CYA now 30-50 FC 0 - 0.5 Ph & TA on the high side ..

Water has cleared up a lot ...

how much bleach do i need to put in now ..

We have vac'd the pool , got all the junk out , added water..


Had a storm , got some much needed rain ... so my high CYA problem has went away..

should i still use bleach ? or chlorine ?

Spend some time in pool school (button upper right) and I think most of your answers will be there. One thing to grasp is that bleach and chlorine are exactly the same thing. We use liquid chlorine because it has fewer unwanted substances in it.

Your chlorine level is low right now. That's your immediate concern. If it spends very long at 0 things begin to grow in the water.
