New to TFP & love this site! I need help though. Can anyone tell me if the pool sand @ Walmart is ok to use in a sand filter? It doesn't say anywhere on the bag it's No. 20 silica. It actually gives you no info @ all except says .5 cu ft. ???

#20 silica sand is what is usually required. If it says pool sand on the bag, then it would be fine to use.
